Breathing Into Spring: An Equinox Breathwork and Sound Experience

Join us on late April 2025, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM for a transformational and enchanting evening of breathwork and soulful sounds. Hosted by Journey Beyond Sound and Kaizenkan Judo, this powerful experience will help harness the special energy of the Spring Equinox, which is a time for reflection, renewal and growth.

The breathwork portion is led by Brandt Miller. During this sacred breathwork experience, we will harness the powerful energy of the equinox, using conscious connected breathing to both soothe and awaken the nervous system—creating an optimal state for deep healing. Through rhythmic breath, sound, somatic techniques, and guided journeying, we will explore our inner landscape, gently uncovering both the wounds and strengths that have shaped our path. Breath will serve as our medicine, empowering us to step into this season of renewal with clarity and intention.

For the sound portion, attendees will melt away with Journey Beyond Sound's very relaxing and meditative sound bath featuring the symphonic gong, crystal bowls, flutes and various tribal instruments designed to promote healing and inner peace. The soulful sound waves will "wash" over you (sound bath), creating a space of limitless boundaries. There will be two musicians for your journey!

The combination of power and energy of the Spring Equinox, combined with breathwork, and soulful sound waves "washing" over you (sound bath), will be a transformational expereince. After you journey through breathwork, you'll drift you into a relaxing meditative sound bath, easing the mind and reducing stress while letting your imagination soar.

We recommend arriving early for mingling and tea, and to secure your spot - as the program will begin promptly at 7:05pm.

What to Bring:
We encourage participants to bring yoga mats, blankets, optional eye covering, and any personal items for cozy comfort. Meditation pillows are good for portions of the breathwork The floor is already padded, so it is okay if you only bring blankets to fold underneath and/or cover you.

If able, you are invited to relax and lay down to experience the full meditative effects of the music. If you've never experienced a sound bath, or sound meditation, this will be an incredible one to attend, and you will be guided through the process. No prior experience is necessary.
