About Us

Journey Beyond Sound is a collective of skilled live musicians and practitioners rooted in connection, mindfulness, and personal growth. Based in Northern California, we share immersive sound experiences across the SF Bay Area, Marin, Sonoma, and beyond.
We create layered acoustic soundscapes and ceremonial sound baths designed to support emotional well-being, nervous system reset, and deep rest. Our work centers on musicality, high-quality instrumentation, and grounded facilitation.
Guided by authenticity, we weave meditative sound and intentional ceremony into thoughtfully crafted journeys. From public gatherings and sunset floating sound baths to private retreats and corporate sessions, each event invites participants to pause, slow down, and experience the restorative depth of live sound.

We create intentional soundscapes designed to quiet mental chatter, calm the nervous system, and support deep rest. We invite you to experience a live sound journey with our ensemble of musicians at an upcoming gathering or event.

Collective

The Journey Beyond Sound collective brings together trained facilitators and multi-instrumentalists. Together, our ensemble weaves symphonic gongs, crystal singing bowls, melodic hand pans, flutes, resonant strings, percussion, and voice into layered meditative soundscapes.
Featuring veteran string instrumentation, our work incorporates violin to add an emotive emotive, orchestral depth rarely found in traditional sound baths.

Testimonials
"Attending my first sound bath was a transformative experience! I went in with an open mind and left feeling deeply relaxed, emotionally balanced, and surprisingly rejuvenated. The soothing vibrations of instruments like Tibetan bowls and gongs created a meditative state that allowed me to let go of daily stress and truly connect with myself. Even as a first-timer, I found the experience both grounding and liberating. It was a journey of sound that took me to unexpected places of calm and clarity. I can’t wait to attend another session—this time with extra pillows and blankets for ultimate comfort!"
ANDI GOMEZ, sound bath attendee
"This was my first floating sound bath experience. We were cleansed in sage and palo santo smoke before floating on rafts in the warm pool, completely immersed in surround sound musical vibrations with a gentle breeze moving through the trees. The resonance of the instruments surrounded us, and we closed the ceremony by burning notes of things we wanted to release. It was a beautiful ritual to celebrate the equinox, and getting to connect with the Om gong was unforgettable. Highly recommend!"
LILJA K., Floating sound bath attendee
"The layers of live instrumentation made this completely different from any sound bath I’ve attended. Having multiple musicians, especially the violin weaving in alongside the gongs and bowls created a musical depth that quieted my mind almost instantly. Truly restorative."
